The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, better known as Prince William and Kate Middleton are trading in their romantic honeymoon destination for a trip through North America which will last 11 days. The couple tried to keep their entourage to a minimum, but Kate did take her own hairdresser, James Pryce along on the tour.
At London's Heathrow Airport Kate wore a chic navy blue outfit, her favourite colour. The Duchess wore a silk cotton-blend dress by Roland Mouret paired with a Smythe blazer. She styled her outfit with navy Manolo Blahnik pumps and a beautiful (one of my favourites!) Mulberry Polly Push lock shoulder bag.
For her arrival at Macdonald-Cartier International Airport in Ottawa, the Duchess of Cambridge opted for a navy blue Erdem Resort 2012 lace dress. She teamed her dress with nude L.K. Bennett heels which matched her clutch. Her hair was in a half updo.
Kate and William attended an informal bbq with 120 children who dedicated themselves to bettering lives of others on July 1. The Duchess wore navy again and this time, Kate threw a bird-printed dress by Issa which she paired with black wedges.
The British royal couple rode in a carriage to celebrate National Canada Day, on their way to attend the Canadian Citizenship Ceremony, where new citizend swear their loyalty to Queen Elizabeth. Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, wore an off-white Reiss dress with a tulip skirt and a ruffle trim. She paired her dress with a red Lock and Co. maple fascinator, an Anya Hindmarch clutch and pumps by Rupert Sanderson. She dressed in the colours of the flag and even got the maple leaf into her look; well done!
The same evening, the royal couple had a night full of National Canada Day celebrations. Kate opted for one of her favourite brands Issa: a long-sleeved purple jersey dress. She teamed her dress with navy suede pumps by Prada and another Anya Hindmarch clutch. Her hair was in a swept back chignon.
On July 2 the British royal couple visited the Canadian War Museum and a Tree Planting Ceremony. Kate wore a lovely fitted Catherine Walker grey dress with a cute collar. She styled her dress with a Hobbs clutch and Tabitha Simmons sparkly lizard pumps.
On July 3, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sailed into Quebec, where they took part in a morning prayer service on board of a military frigate. Kate opted for Erdem for the second time, and again for navy. The fitted Pre-Fall 2011 Erdem dress had 3/4-lengted sleeves, a lace yoke and floral embroidery on the front. She teamed her dress with her favourite L.K. Bennett pumps and a nude clutch.
Prince William and Kate also joined a ceremony at Province House in Charlottetown. The Duchess wore a cream-coloured Alexander McQueen cable-knit dress with navy detailing. She paired the dress with navy Prada heels. Kate's hair was in a cute curled ponytail.
While William was waterbirding in Charlottetown, the Duchess happily took pictures in a Ted Baker trenchcoat and a warm Hugo Boss scarf.
For her arrival on Prince Edward Isle, Kate wore a dress and jacket both by Joseph. Later, in Fort Levi she got rid of the jacket and she greeted the citizens in her dress. She paired the cream sleeveless Joseph dress with a glittery L.K. Bennett clucth and her favourite nude pumps.
Later that day, Kate and William competed in a boat race on Prince Edward Isle. Kate was dressed very sporty. She opted for a Nike jacket and boat shoes by Sebago. Her hair was in a ponytail.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also paid a visit to the Somba K’e Civic Plaza in Yellowknife where Prince William tried some street hockey while Kate was watching. Kate opted for a nude By Marlene Birger dress and again, her L.K. Bennett pumps. Her hair was down in glossy curls.
Swapped out of her nude dress, Kate boarded a float plane to set off for Blachford Lake. Her new outfit consisted of the same J Brand jeans with the same boat shoes by Sebago. This time she paired the jeans with a Burberry shirt.
Jetting of to their final Canadian destination, Calgary, Prince William and Kate boarded their private plane on July 6. The Duchess again wore the beautiful Smythe blazer and her J Brand jeans paired with a ruffled blouse. She styled her outfit with Nine West Cheyanne wedges and a belt by Linda Camm.
The Duchess made a quick wardrobe change on the plane and for her arrival Kate opted for a soft yellow Jenny Packham dress, paired with her nude L.K. Bennett pumps. She probably didn't count on such a windy arrival, which led to a small wardrobe malfunction, pulling a Marilyn Monroe. Haha!
To attend a rodeo demonstration, William and Kate donned matching hat and they looked really cowboy-ish. Instead of her favourite J Brand jeans, the Duchess opted for Goldsign bootcut jeans, a white Alice by Alice Temperley printed blouse and cowboy boots.
After visiting the ENMAX Conservatory Calgary Zoo on day 9, the Duke and Duchess took off to Los Angeles. Kate opted for a Catherine Walker coat-dress which she styled with the Queen's maple brooch. She styled her cute dress with again, the nude L.K. Bennett pumps and a matching nude clutch.
In the afternoon the couple will leave Canada, and arrive at Los Angeles International Airport in Los Angeles, California. They will attend a UK Trade and Industry reception at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
I was thinking about how many suitcases and bags the royal couple took along on their tour... Which look do you like most?
