Elizabeth Walkabout & Prince George Plaza Dedication




On Wednesday, April 23, 2014, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Adelaide, South Australia, and the suburb of Elizabeth, named after the Queen, who visited the area in 1963.

Following a visit to a youth music center, William and Kate's greeted well-wishers in a walkabout and unveiled a plaque to dedicate Prince George Plaza.

Adelaide Arrival & Northern Sound System Visit




On Wednesday, April 23, 2014, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Adelaide, South Australia, and the suburb of Elizabeth, named after the Queen, who visited the area in 1963.

William and Kate's first stop of the day was at Northern Sound System, a youth music center that provides rehearsal spaces and recording equipment to young people who want to get involved in the music industry. While they were there, they toured the studio, took a spin at DJ'ing, and watched a skateboarding demonstration.

Watched by several thousand people, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were treated to an exhibition of scooter and bike riding on the concrete bowl of a skate park, with action performed by young members of the Elizabeth Riders group.



The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were presented with a personalized skateboard for Prince George, emblazoned with his name, two boxing kangaroos and two Australian flags in the shape of the country.



 Prince William tried his hand at aerosol art, adding his own touches to a billboard display.
