Kate Middleton wasn't
on the ground at Olympic Stadium last night with the 10,000 athletes
and thousands more volunteers, but she was there, watching all of the
lights and fireworks and action with the rest of the royal family.
The Duchess watched with a giant smile on her face as the ceremony unfolded. She and Prince William, along with her brother-in-law Prince Harry
and the rest of her husband's family, were shown many times during the
telecast. Only the Queen was lucky enough to actually be featured in the
ceremony. The matriarch was shown in a filmed bit with Daniel Craig!

Many were eager to see what The Duchess of Cambridge would be wearing at
the opening ceremony for the London Olympics 2012. But when Kate
Middleton finally stepped out in an ice blue Christopher Kane dress,
there were a lot of applause.
