On Thursday (April 10, 2014), the Duke
and Duchess of Cambridge traveled to Blenheim. Their third engagement of
the day was visiting the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre, where they viewed World War I planes and exhibits.The Hobbit film producer Sir Peter Jackson
showed William and Kate around the inside of the museum which holds WWI
memorabilia he has been collecting since he was 12 years old.

Cambridge with a child-sized flying helmet, lined with possum skin, as a
gift for Prince George.

Kate wore a new, custom made, cornflower blue coat dress by Alexander McQueen.
She accented the outfit with New Zealand's official WWI commemorative
red poppy and a pair of sapphire and diamond drop earrings that match
her engagement ring. Kate finished her look with a navy suede clutch and
matching navy pumps.
