This morning, October 21, 2014, the
Duke and Duchess of Cambridge greeted the President of Singapore, Tony
Tan Keng Yam, and his wife, Mary Tan, on behalf of the Queen, at the Royal Garden Hotel
in London, as part of a 3-day official state visit. William and Kate
then proceeded with the President and First Lady to the Horse Guards
Parade where they were joined by the Queen and Prince Philip for a
ceremonial welcome. Afterwards, the group traveled by carriage to
Buckingham Palace for a luncheon.
