2015 St. Patrick's Day Parade

Today (March 17, 2015) the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a St. Patrick’s Day Parade with the 1st Battalion Irish Guards at Mons Barracks in Aldershot. Prince William is Colonel-in-Chief of the regiment. Kate presented sprigs of shamrock to officers and guardsmen, a century old tradition started by Queen Alexandra in 1901 and later carried out by the Queen Mother.
