2014 Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards Ceremony





This evening, October 21, 2014, the Duchess of Cambridge attended the 2014 Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards ceremony at the Natural History Museum in London, where she is a patron. Kate met the finalists, view the exhibition and presented awards to the winners.




An international panel of judges selected 100 photographs to be showcased in the exhibition, opening to the public on October 24. After its premiere, the exhibition will embark on an international tour across six continents, giving millions of people across the world the chance to view some of the world’s most memorable wildlife photography.

Accessory Style File: For Tuesday evening's 2014 Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out wearing $1245 'Riva Diamond Cluster Drop Earrings' and a $3340 'Riva Diamond Cluster Bib' by Monica Vinader. The necklace is sold at Harrods and both items are available to order online through the designer's website.

2014 Singapore State Visit




This morning, October 21, 2014, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge greeted the President of Singapore, Tony Tan Keng Yam, and his wife, Mary Tan, on behalf of the Queen, at the Royal Garden Hotel in London, as part of a 3-day official state visit. William and Kate then proceeded with the President and First Lady to the Horse Guards Parade where they were joined by the Queen and Prince Philip for a ceremonial welcome. Afterwards, the group traveled by carriage to Buckingham Palace for a luncheon.
