Best Pictures from Canada Royal Tour 2016

Britain's royal family is wrapping up an eight-day tour of Canada, and the highlights spanned the entire trip.

There was Prince George's diss of Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the matching lifevests the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue bestowed upon the brother and sister, and the many photo opps of the British royal couple alongside the glamorous Trudeaus.

If you didn't follow the royal family's trip, not to worry: Here's a roundup of photos from the trip.

Prince William and Kate began the second day of their royal tour with a trip on a seaplane from
Victoria to Vancouver this morning.

The Duchess opted for an intricate red and white dress by her go-to favourite Sarah Burton for
Alexander McQueen, the designer behind her stunning wedding dress.

When the weather improved following the pair's rain-soaked day in Bella Bella , it was business as usual for the Duchess of Cambridge as she stepped out in an elegant green dress. It's a new number for Kate, from Dolce & Gabbana, featuring button detailing and a flared hem. It appears to have been modified for the Duchess as Matches Fashion have a version.

In Whitehorse, the couple sat down on a log to join schoolchildren for a story telling session with ‘Grandma’ Lorraine Allen who translated the book. The book opens with a character called William the Moose which prompted William and Kate to burst out laughing.

Kate Middleton and Prince William were left teetering on the edge of a railway track after an impromptu visit to a historic steam train as part of their tour of Canada.

It has taken a while, but the Duchess stepped out in a Canadian label on day five of the visit.

The Duchess rocked a blazer and jeans combo from one of her favourite brands, as she and William visited a number of charities in Victoria.

It was the dressiest event of the tour, and Kate shone in Canadian red at Government House in Victoria.

And before she did, there was time to wrap up in a khaki wax parka, £350, by Troy London, and swap her J. Crew heels for a more sensible pair of white sneakers, £50.73, from Superga.
