Duchess Kate Takes the Wheel During 'Away Day' in Birmingham

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge enjoyed an 'away day' in Birmingham carrying out several engagements in the area.

Royal 'away days' tend to offer an interesting and varied itinerary and today was no exception. It also provides a nice opportunity for royalists in the area to see and meet members of the Royal family. Richard Palmer recently reported we would see the Duchess carrying out more engagements outside of the London area in the coming weeks; today's visit is reportedly the first of several we'll see. William and Kate first visited Birmingham months after the royal wedding in 2011 to visit riot-torn communities.

Afterwards, the royals met some of JLR's volunteers, who support projects focusing on regeneration, education, young people, charity work and the environment, and they will meet schoolchildren from Topcliffe Primary School, Castle Vale – winners of the Jaguar Primary School Challenge which saw their wining model car race on a track.

The Duchess Gets Back To Work With A Military-inspired Dress

TODAY the Duchess of Cambridge proved she was well and truly back to her royal duties with her second public appearance in less than a day.

The Duchess of Cambridge called on one of her charities, Place2Be, on Wednesday morning as she attended the School Leaders Forum in London. Kate, who showed off a glimpse of her baby bump, opened the conference and joined delegates in discussing children's mental health, in particular how schools can help tackle problems in early life.

Kate, who looked elegant in a burgundy dress by Goat, heard from experts from Place2Be partner schools in England, Scotland and Wales. They discussed how to provide practical support for children and how to nurture good mental health in young boys and girls. The forum, entitled I'm Fine!, also included presentations from experts in child psychiatry, psychology and research, alongside head teachers of Place2Be partner schools working in some of the most disadvantaged parts of the UK.

Early intervention school support for children's mental health has been a key priority for Kate, who is expecting her third child with husband Prince William. The couple have two children together – Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, two – and have been very open in how they would want their children to speak openly about their emotions and any struggles.

Kate's outing came the morning after she attended a glittering gala at Kensington Palace on Tuesday. The pregnant Duchess turned heads in a black lace Diane von Furstenberg Zarita gown, which she wore back in 2014 when she was pregnant with Princess Charlotte. Coincidentally, Prince Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle owns a shorter, navy version of the Duchess' DVF gown.

The royal's autumn diary is filling up fast – a sure sign that Kate is well enough to carry out royal duties. She had to take a break from engagements in September and October as she suffered from severe morning sickness, but the mum-of-two appears to be on the mend. Next week, Kate will visit the Hornsey Road Children's Centre in London. She had been due to visit in early September but cancelled due to her sickness.

Pregnant Kate displays a hint of a baby bump at a charity gala

for Children and Families.

Lovely in lace! Kate displays a hint of a baby bump in black designer gown that she also wore while pregnant with Princess Charlotte as she attends a glittering Kensington Palace charity gala.

The royal appeared to want to keep attention off her growing bump and was spotted holding her clutch in front of her midriff.

Looking glowing, Kate showed off her growing baby bump in a floor length black lace gown by designer Diane Von Furstenberg at the 2017 Gala Dinner for The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families. If this dress looks familiar it's because Kate wore it back in 2014 to the Royal Variety Performance when she was pregnant with Charlotte!

A timeless classic, this floor-sweeping gown featuring a fitted bodice and fluted skirt is the kind of piece you'll want to dig out time and time again. We love the ladylike three-quarter length sleeves combined with the scalloped neckline; meanwhile the all-over lace design gives it a romantic feel.

Kate Middleton Is Pregnant! Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William Expecting Third Child

Both Prince George and Princess Charlotte are about to receive a special title: How does older sibling sound? E! News can confirm Kate Middleton is indeed pregnant and expecting her third child with husband Prince William.

"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child," the palace announced in a statement Monday morning. "The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news."

While the palace confirmed that Kate is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum or morning sickness, the pregnancy news is still great news for a royal couple who has been more than open about how much they love parenthood.

Whether enjoying family vacations around the world or celebrating holidays together, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has proven time and time again that family time is the best time.

"Well, as the other parents in the room will testify, there's wonderful highs and there's wonderful lows. It's been quite a change for me, personally. I'm very lucky in the support I have from Catherine," William recently said about his wife on the Talk Vietnam show. "She is an amazing mother and a fantastic wife."

He added, "I adore my children very much and I've learned a lot about myself and about a family, just from having my own children and it's amazing how much you pick up from just in those moments." Although Kate suffered from morning sickness with her first two pregnancies, the proud mom appears to be ready to expand her family one more time in 2017.
If her second pregnancy journey was any indication, the Duchess will have the support from many family, friends and even strangers around the world and while her traveling schedule and work commitments may change with a baby on board, we can't help but predict that many fashionable maternity looks will be coming sooner rather than later.

Congratulations to the couple on their special news!

Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince Harry Honor Princess Diana at New Memorial Garden

In the wake of the 20-year anniversary of Princess Diana's death, Kate Middleton spent the day honoring her memory along with Diana's sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. The three paid a visit to the former Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace, which has been transformed into the White Garden and filled with white roses, lilies, gladioli, and cosmos flowers.

The new blooms were planted in dedication to the late Princess, and were inspired by her charitable work and her unforgettable style, including the famous white "Elvis" Catherine Walker dress. "The engagement will allow the Princes to pay tribute to the life and work of their mother the day before the twentieth anniversary of her death," an earlier statement from Kensington Palace said.

According to CNN, during their visit they met with various charities that were meaningful to the late Princess Diana, such as people from the U.K.'s homeless charity Centrepoint, the National AIDS Trust, Great Ormond Street Hospital, the Leprosy Mission and the Landmine Survivors Network.

The Duchess wore Prada's Poppy Silk-Crepe Dress (which retails for a cool $2,340) as she strolled through the garden with an umbrella and Prince William and Prince Harry by her side. We imagine the royal family has more plans to honor Diana's life tomorrow, on the exact date of the twentieth anniversary of her death.

Kate Middleton was in good spirits despite the dreary weather as she walked around the garden.

Below are the delicate white flowers that were planted in Princess Diana's honor. The transformed garden will continue to be open for public viewing through September 2017.

Kate Middleton and Prince William have banned this from their house for George and Charlotte

Parenting is difficult whether you're royal or not.

While Kate Middleton and Prince William are trying to raise their children as normal as possible inside the royal fishbowl, they are taking a strict approach to avoid spoiling their children - that includes iPad access.
While most children are more accustomed to swiping than writing, the gadgets are off-limits for Prince George (four) and Princess Charlotte (two).

"They’re very much seen as Mummy and Daddy’s toys, not for children. As two people who grew up without gadgets for entertainment themselves, William and Kate are firm believers in toys, outdoor play, and encouraging an active imagination. They’re very much a normal family," a source told Us Weekly, in a new profile on the family.

Meanwhile, George, who celebrated his fourth birthday last month after a tour of Poland and Germany, is reportedly becoming aware that his life is not exactly the same as the average child his age, with an insider telling the mag that's he's "at an age where he’s starting to realize that the world he lives in is different to his friends."

Unsurprisingly, two-year-old Charlotte is still oblivious to her princess status and loves Disney princesses and tagging along with her mother everywhere.

"Wherever Kate goes, so does Charlotte," they added.

Kate and William are often praised for their down-to-earth parenting skills - choosing to raise their children in Norfolk for as long as possible (they're moving to Kensington Palace later this year), signing up Prince George to a progressive private day school over William's alma mater and dressing both in clothing from the high street.

Last year, Vanity Fair reported the royal couple had the blessing of William's father Prince Charles and  his grandmother Britain's Queen Elizabeth.

"The Queen and the Prince of Wales have given their blessing for William to live this life, and William is very grateful. It’s enabling him and Kate to raise their family in a way that’s as close to ordinary as they can get. William doesn’t want George and Charlotte going through some of the experiences he went through growing up. Everything he does regarding his family is very deliberate."
