Applause: William and Kate join the applause for the first match on Centre Court.

Kate and Prince William will cheer on Britain's Andy Murray in his quarter-final against David Ferrer today.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have joined the tennis fans braving the damp English summer to cheer on Andy Murray at Wimbledon today.

William and Kate will be sitting in the Royal Box on Centre Court for men's quarter-finals day, which sees the British number one taking on David Ferrer.

Last year Kate wore a white Temperley dress for a day out at the All England Club with her husband, where they again saw Murray in action.

This time around she recycled a £900 sailor-style cream dress designed by Sarah Burton for McQueen which she wore on last year's Royal Tour of Canada.

William and Kate took their seats in the Royal Box ahead of Roger Federer's quarter-final against Mikhail Louzhny.  Murray's clash with Ferrer, who knocked him out of the French Open last month, will follow that match.

FA President William reached across the seats to shake hands with England boss Roy Hodgson while Kate had a chat with Tim Henman's mum Jane, who is sitting in the row behind the royals with husband Tony.

Approval: Kate applauds the Centre Court action.

Upstanding: The Royal Box guests are on their feet to applaud Wimbledon legend Roger Federer's win in straight sets.
