The 30-year-old Duchess of Cambridge joined the queen on a jam-packed day of public events in the English city of Leicester, where crowds of well-wishers lined the streets waving flags, toting flowers and gifts for the royals.
The pair, along with Prince Philip, arrived in Leicester after an hour-long train ride from London's St. Pancras station and made their first stop at De Montfort University, where they watched a dance performance. Then the ladies headed to a student fashion show at the university.
The final stop was a ceremony at Leicester's Clock Tower where the city unveiled a plaque in the queen's honor. The queen will travel to Birmingham, Edinburgh and Glasgow, as well as the Isle of Wight, as her Jubilee tour continues into the summer.
