'Raining' Style Queen: Kate Brightens up drizzly Premiere

Kate looked stunning in a bead embellished two-piece by Matthew Williamson (is that a peplum we spy?) paired with her usual black court shoes, matching clutch and her beauty staple - a good coating of black eyeliner.

The rainy weather was instantly forgotten as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped from their car onto the red carpet at a London premiere in aid of the Tusk Trust charity. A sea of flashbulbs greeted William and Kate, elegant in a grey Matthew Williamson dress with subtle peplum detail and jade green beading trim.

Like a true gentleman, the Prince shielded his wife from the rain with an umbrella as they walked to the BFI Southbank. The couple, who celebrate their first wedding anniversary on Sunday, were out to highlight the opening of the film Big Cats. The film tells the story of life on Kenya's plains for a pride of lions and a family of cheetahs as they fight to survive.

It is directed by Guy Ritchie, who was enjoying a night out at the unveiling with his girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley. Sir Patrick Stewart narrates the true-life story, which will raise funds for the wildlife conservation charity of which William is patron. The Tusk Trust supports wildlife conservation and poverty reduction from Botswana to Algeria.

The future King has a long-standing affection for Africa, and it's where he asked Kate for her hand. During his gap year, William spent three months travelling the continent learning about wildlife and the environment. He has often said he loves the anonymity he enjoys there. "Africa is the perfect place to come," he said during an interview with his adventurer friend Ben Fogle. "The locals, wherever I go, haven't got a clue who I am and I love that."
